Strengthening Economic Relations Between Switzerland and Iraq
Based in Geneva and officially established in 2025, the Swiss–Iraq Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCISI) is committed to strengthening economic ties between Switzerland and Iraq.
The Chamber promotes sustainable and balanced cooperation by developing commercial, industrial, financial, technological, cultural, and sports relations between the two countries. It supports the creation of strategic partnerships, facilitates trade in goods, services, and capital, and encourages long-term business collaboration.
CCISI connects companies with shared interests, organizes business delegations and meetings both virtually and in person, and provides market intelligence and economic insights related to Switzerland. It also assists Iraqi companies seeking commercial representation in Switzerland and may act as mediator or arbitrator in the event of commercial disputes.
Guided by a vision of sustainable growth, the Chamber supports Iraq’s ongoing economic transformation, including efforts to diversify beyond oil, modernize infrastructure, generate employment for its young population, and address major reconstruction needs. The Swiss–Iraq Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCISI) was founded by Hassan Al-Adhadh, President, and Ahmed Al-Adhadh, Secretary General. Their vision is to establish a dynamic platform dedicated to strengthening economic relations between Switzerland and Iraq by supporting businesses, fostering strategic partnerships, and facilitating the exchange of expertise and sustainable initiatives between the two countries.
